Our main barn, built in the early 1900's, holds livestock in the winter- Ohio winters can be brutal, and the cows need protection and a warm place to call home! There are also many older buildings with neat names like 'The Well House' and 'The Coal Shed'. Of course, we also have a large chicken coup that houses our girls, a few roosters, and two bunnies.

This past year, we had to tear down an old cinder block building; however, it made way for a new storage garage! Peter also has been busy building a new pig barn with easy access to pasture and seperated pens for birthing!

Our Animals: Cattle

Meet Grace- she was our first cow! She was bred when we bought her in May 2015, and gave birth in July 2015 to Patriot, our first bull calf. We also bought Molly at the same time, who also was bred. She gave birth to a heifer later that month. They were both sired by a Devon. This breed is known for its success on grass fed diet, and mild demeanor. We have since acquired five black angus cross. Our hope is to grow our herd over the years, providing you with quality beef for the supper table.

For our 12 year aniversary, Pete bought me four pigs! Two of them have been tapped for breeding, and we hope to have litters soon. Some will be sold as feeder pigs, and some will be pasture raised for butcher.

Our Animals: Chickens and Turkeys

Our girls enjoy a special grain mix, in addition to fresh air and green grass, to ensure that they are healthy. Peter and Quinton team up with family to butcher poultry about twice a year. If you are interested in fresh whole birds, please contact us.
